MOLICEIRO TRIP

The Boat Moliceiro is the cultural symbol of the Ria de Aveiro, and our mission is to make known the city of Aveiro and its Ria, its people, cultures, and traditions, through this tour that will take you to navigate through the main channels of the city and contemplate the main points of tourist interest. We are waiting for you on this Nautical Adventure!

1- Central Channel

We start our journey through the Central Canal of Ria de Aveiro, where we will sail in the lower part of the city and you will be able to see the Museum of Art Nouveau, the Rossio Garden, the old Captaincy building and much more.

2- Cojo Channel

Then we embark towards the Cojo canal located more in the center of the city, here we can see the statues that are linked to the culture of Aveiro, the Captaincy, the Forum, the famous bridges covered by bows, the old Ceramics Factory and much more.

3- Pyramids Channel

We will also sail towards the Canal das Pirâmides where we can see the salt flats, the Pyramids roundabout and its monuments, the main maritime access to the city of Aveiro and its lock, the bascule bridge among other tourist attractions.

4- São Roque Channel

Before finishing, we will embark towards the Canal de São Roque on the northern edge of the city, here we will stroll through the old neighborhood of fishermen and marnots called Beira-Mar, where you will be able to see the Praça and Mercado do Peixe, the Laço bridge, buildings with Art Nouveau features and much more.
